Alex Power

Alex Power is an award-winning writer/ director/ producer from Australia, with a Master’s in Screen Production majoring in Directing from the Western Australian Screen Academy (WASA). His final post-grad project took out the coveted Best Film award for his cohort. Short films Alex has directed include Get Me in the Room, Extremely Irrevocably Dead, Changing Tides, and Stuffed. Earning recognition at festivals around the world, his work has gone on to win awards such as Best Film and Best Direction at the Screen It International Film Festival. His short form documentary School Makes Me… took out Best Innovation in Short Film at the WA Screen Culture Awards. Alex’s work also includes a multitude of music videos, which have been broadcasted nationally on ABC's Rage. He has worked on large-scale television, commercials and features both within Australia and internationally, showcasing his versatility and collaborative expertise across diverse productions.
