Richard Vilensky

Richard has an unhealthy obsession with film and comedy and stealing cameras. Following a childhood running around the Perth suburbs shooting comedy shorts with a Hi-8 video camera he stole from his dad, Richard pursued a Masters in Directing at AFTRS going on to scoop 2 AACTA nominations before the age of 25. Richard has spent the last decade establishing an international reputation for comedy, visual and performance driven work that has collected multiple awards including 2 Campaign Brief Awards and 5 individual PADC Skulls (including for Director Of The Year in 2018). With a love of collaboration and a passion for bold ideas, Richard is always striving to do his best work.
